Writing Block

Writing - the activity that melts stress away and provides clear objectivity. This talent of mine emerges during fits of struggle and turmoil. Can't I find it while content? Apparently not . . .

The below was created in five seconds, it's the only poem I've composed to combat writing block.

Confined
They say writers are usual people,
I'm not any different from the mold;
However, writers are lonely - isolated
Living life full of stories untold.

Memories of despair and drugery
Keeps a pen dipped in dark ink
Restricting promises compressing hope
Slipping away, blockages sink
