Transformations of Change
It only takes seven meager days to encompass one week. After a few pass by – elements in your life, can transform so severely – is it recognizable at all?
Change is everlasting – uncontrollable – inevitable and necessary.
Choice is involved; you can either sit by and let 'change' happen to you or you can take an active role in creating it – be it positive or negative. The only caveat is, you can’t control it, but perhaps you can influence it.
It’s interesting where change can take you . . . I used to fight it – never adapted very well – for some reason I guess I was just a little apprehensive. Thankfully, people find change within themselves – growing – adding to their prevalent list of experiences.
Where have you been vs. where you’re going, what you’ve learned, and how you will continue to evolve. Change is good that way - it can befriend us all.
Transformations are attributed to two things: (1) change and (2) choice.
Perhaps nothing is meant to last forever, but events and people come into your life for a reason – to teach you something you wouldn’t have experienced on your own. So, from that standpoint – perhaps it’s okay to escape certain circumstances and mourn those who leave us. If my theory is right, something new should always be waiting.
Let Go
Brisk brine breezes
Tepid gusts cloak the salty seas
Ocean swells drift out to the deep
Whispering softly "come follow me"
Combers curl, crush, and clap
The whitecaps fold over on top of the wooden raft
A myriad of colors post in the sky
You can weep now, it's okay to cry
